Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ tbsp light brown sugar
- ½ tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp Korean chilli flakes (gochugaru) Alternatively, use ¼ tsp chilli powder
- 2 gralic cloves minced
- 1 stem spring onion chopped
- 1 inch-sized ginger peeled and minced
- 100 g unsalted butter soften
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, white and brown sugar, sesame oil, chilli flakes, garlic and ginger.
- Its perfect for steaks and grilled veggies.
- Bring to a boil and cook until thickened. Then let cool to room temperature.
- In a food processor, add the reduced down paste and chopped spring onions to softened butter and pulse until combined.
- Using plastic wrap, roll the butter into a 1½-inch-thick log and chill until firm.
- Slicing into rounds. Use as a finishing butter on steaks.
